Rick Droit has performed his unique style of American music across the U.S. at music festivals, coffee shops, colleges, clubs & other venues, vividly blending Acoustic Texas Blues, Folk Rock, Indie Pop and Americana arriving at style all his own. Droit is headlining more and more shows, but has also opened for such artists as Peter Rowan, Nanci Griffith, Still On the Hill, Jack Hardy, Nathan McEuen, The Derailers, Chris Chandler, Anne Feeney, Georgy Rock and others. He is currently has a new CD with several guest appearances by friends and peers Sara Hickman Mark Hallman Christopher Yarrow Kristin DeWitt Warren Hood Brian Standefer Laura Freeman Tami Griffin Theo Bick Erin Jo Enochs Helena Nash The disc was recorded in Austin at Congress House Studios by Mark Hallman who has produced award winning albums for Ani Difranco, Carole King, Lucinda Williams, Oasis and many others.
